Until now Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch's Education Programme has been aimed towards primary school aged children.
Thanks to salary funding from the Manx Lottery Trust and the Scheinberg Family, a brand-new series of sessions targeting Key Stage 3 and 4 is being developed through Autumn/Winter 2023. These sessions will focus on threats, conservation and climate issues affecting the marine environment and empowering young people to tackle climate anxiety with a positive and constructive mindset.
If you are a High School teacher on the Isle of Man and would like to register your interest in these sessions, please use the contact on the homepage.
This website will be updated when these sessions are launched in Spring 2024 and an email will go out to all high schools.
